Fire Protection Systems

Due to the inherent fire properties of PVC, the use of this material as an intumescent compounds as part of a Fire Protection system widely used.   

An intumescent is a material that expands as a result of heat exposure, thus increasing in volume and sealing air spaces minimising the spread of fire as part of a passive fire protection system. Dugdale provide a collaborative approach to this market sector and continually develop compounds and systems to keep pace with changing legislation. Compounds are supplied in both pellet (granule) and powder form.
