Angus graduated from the University of Hull with a Masters Degree in Chemistry, and trained as a polymer technologist. Angus has since undertaken roles in materials science, production planning, product management and quality management in the polymer sector, most latterly for one of the UK’s largest Polypropylene and Polyethylene recyclers and compounders.
With his role within Dugdale being more customer facing, the communication and intercompany relationship skills Angus has gained through his experience, and which are key to the Dugdale philosophy, are being used to good effect.
Angus has a strong recycling background he is aiming to further enhance Dugdale’s continuing recycling projects and work on new, up and coming developments.
Outside of work, since the age of five, Angus has been a very keen rugby union player and can cover most playing positions in the halfbacks and three-quarter line. He also enjoys winter sports particularly skiing and snowboarding.
