Film/Sheet Extrusion

Sheet or film extrusion is used to produce plastic sheets or films that are too thick to be blown.

Film sheet extrusion for clear extrusion, white extrusion, hollow extrusion, tinted extrusion or coloured extrusion PVC compounds, are heated and then extruded through a slit die before being cooled by being pulled through a set of cooling rolls creating the film or sheet.

Dugdale’s range of compounds covers sheet / film extrusion as well as profile and hollow extrusions. Should you like to talk through your PVC film sheet extrusion requirements, whether that is clear extrusion, while extrusion or hollow extrusion,  then please do not hesitate to contact our team who will be more than happy to talk through the PVC compound options, standard or bespoke, that Dugdale can offer in support.
